Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state license for SLP practice in educational environments
- Experience providing speech, language, and communication services within school settings
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Motivated, flexible, and compassionate approach
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students
- Create and execute individualized treatment plans that support each student’s unique goals
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to optimize student progress
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services in accordance with IEPs
- Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, therapy sessions, and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to support student achievement
- Support a positive and inclusive learning environment
