- Valid SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology)
- Previous experience or strong interest in school-based SLP roles
- Proficiency in evaluating, diagnosing, and developing treatment plans for a variety of communication disorders
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Exceptional communication, organization, and documentation abilities
- California licensure (or eligibility)
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders for students
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor progress
- Deliver therapy in both individual and group settings, adapting strategies to meet each student’s unique needs
- Maintain accurate records, session notes, and data to support student growth and comply with educational requirements
- Communicate regularly with teachers, families, and support staff to provide insights and recommendations
- Participate in IEP and team meetings to plan effective interventions and discuss outcomes
