Qualifications and Experience Sought:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Active California SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience working with school-aged children in a diverse, multicultural setting is advantageous
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and educational staff
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Skilled in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of varied speech and language disorders
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations and develop personalized therapy plans for students with speech, language, communication, and related disorders
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and family members to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services according to the selected contract modality
- Provide resources and training to school staff and families as needed
- Track student progress and adjust interventions to promote positive outcomes
