Qualifications & Experience Desired:
- Active California SLP license with CTC certification required
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Prior experience working in a school setting, preferably with middle school students
- In-depth knowledge of assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring
- Excellent verbal/written communication and collaborative skills
- Motivated, self-directed, and passionate about making a difference onsite
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized therapy plans for students with communication disorders
- Provide direct therapy services onsite two days per week (days are flexible)
- Consult regularly with teachers, staff, and families regarding student progress and intervention strategies
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expert insights to support student growth
- Stay current on best practices and ensure student confidentiality at all times
