Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current California SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or ability to obtain
- Experience providing speech therapy services in school settings is strongly preferred
- Proficient in administering evaluations, creating IEP goals, and delivering evidence-based therapy
- Effective communicator with students, staff, and families
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage caseload paperwork efficiently
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations of students' speech, language, and communication skills
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on IEPs
- Deliver direct and consultative speech therapy services, tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, psychologists, and parents to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and provide necessary documentation for compliance
- Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and parent/staff consultations
