A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a focus on pediatrics is needed to support students from Kindergarten through 12th grade in Rochester, WA. This contract position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic educational environment, helping students improve their communication skills and achieve academic success.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective intervention strategies
  • Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Provide support and guidance to classroom staff regarding speech and language goals

Qualifications:

  • Active state Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license is required
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in a school setting preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage caseload and prioritize tasks efficiently

Job Details:

  • Start Date: As soon as possible
  • End Date: End of School Year
  • Hours: 30 hours per week, 5 days per week
  • Location: Rochester, WA
