Pediatric Speech and Language Pathologist in Rochester, WA

A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a focus on pediatrics is needed to support students from Kindergarten through 12th grade in Rochester, WA. This contract position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic educational environment, helping students improve their communication skills and achieve academic success.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective intervention strategies
- Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Provide support and guidance to classroom staff regarding speech and language goals
Qualifications:
- Active state Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license is required
- Experience working with pediatric populations in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage caseload and prioritize tasks efficiently
Job Details:
