What We’re Looking For:

  • Active Mississippi SLP license required
  • Prior experience in a school setting preferred, though not mandatory
  • Solid understanding of diverse speech-language challenges for students in PreK-12th grade
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills when working with multidisciplinary teams
  • Commitment to maintaining student confidentiality and district compliance standards

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students aged Pre-K–12
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs), set achievable goals, and document progress
  • Conduct evaluations, assessments, and screenings as needed
  • Partner with teachers, support staff, and families to create an effective learning environment
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights
  • Adapt therapy methodologies to address the distinct needs of each student
  • Manage a caseload of students, balancing paperwork and therapy time efficiently

Role Details:

  • Two contract positions available for the upcoming academic year
  • 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
  • Interviewing in June, with additional information provided during the interview process
