Speech Language Pathologist in Tchula, MS

Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current SLP state licensure (or eligibility for licensure)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred
- Familiarity with IEP development, speech and language assessments, and therapy planning
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting a range of speech and language disorders
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
- Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and services provided
- Provide direct therapy services in both individual and small group settings
- Support and educate teachers and parents on strategies for facilitating successful communication in the classroom
