Key Qualifications:

  • Current and active Mississippi SLP license required
  • Proven experience in a school-based SLP role
  • Comfort working with students from PreK through 12th grade
  • Collaborative mindset and strong communication skills
  • Commitment to fostering positive student outcomes

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized therapy plans for speech and language disorders
  • Deliver tailored speech-language therapy services based on students’ IEPs
  • Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and assessment data
  • Consult and collaborate with educators and family members to support student growth
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert input on SLP needs and strategies
  • Adapt therapy techniques for diverse age ranges and abilities

Details & Schedule:

  • Two SLPs are needed for the new school year
  • Contract position: 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
  • Students range from preschool through high school
  • Interviews are being scheduled for June; further specifics provided during screening
