Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Mississippi State, MS

Key Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current state licensure or eligibility for SLP licensure
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows encouraged to apply
• Experience or strong interest in pediatric or school-based speech services
• Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to assess, diagnose, and provide interventions for a variety of communication disorders
Core Responsibilities:
• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students across a range of needs and ages
• Conduct screenings, assessments, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and parents to support student progress
• Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, progress, and service delivery
• Attend and contribute to IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team sessions
• Educate staff and families about speech-language issues and best practices
