Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Active state SLP license or eligibility for licensure
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcomed
  • Experience in pediatric, school-based, or healthcare settings related to speech and language therapy
  • Strong collaboration skills, able to work effectively alongside teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Proficiency in conducting assessments, creating individualized education plans (IEPs), and maintaining detailed documentation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings and evaluations for K-12 students
  • Develop and implement IEPs tailored to students’ communication needs and educational goals
  • Deliver direct therapy services in individual and group settings within the school
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and special education staff to support student achievement
  • Maintain detailed case notes and progress reports in compliance with school and state requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and ongoing professional development opportunities
