Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Active and valid SLP license for California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Prior experience working in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and maintain meticulous documentation
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech and language therapy to a diverse caseload of students
- Conduct assessments, interpret results, and develop IEP goals in alignment with district standards
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student progress
- Provide engaging interventions that support speech, language, communication, and social skills
- Document session notes, progress reports, and maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to team decisions
