Key Responsibilities:
Conduct occupational therapy evaluations for students with a range of physical, sensory, and developmental needs
Assess fine motor skills, sensory processing, visual-motor integration, and functional abilities within the school setting
Interpret evaluation results and prepare detailed reports with recommendations
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to discuss findings and support student needs
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute evaluation data to the development of student goals and services
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
School-based or pediatric experience preferred, but not required
Experience conducting evaluations and writing reports preferred
Strong communication and collaboration skills
