Essential Qualifications:
- Active New Hampshire SLP license is required
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred, working with children from elementary through high school
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development and common pediatric disorders
- Ability to complete assessments, develop and implement IEPs, and deliver therapy tailored to individual student needs
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with students, families, teachers, and support teams
- Commitment to supporting a diverse student population in an educational environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, voice, and fluency evaluations for students referred for screening and assessment
- Develop individualized treatment plans and participate in IEP meetings to support students’ educational goals
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to children at various grade levels (elementary, middle, and high school)
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports to ensure compliance and monitor student growth
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education teams, and parents to integrate strategies and ensure continuity of care
- Provide guidance, resources, and support within the school community to advance student communication
