School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Lake Mary, Florida

Skilled Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs)—including those holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and recent graduates seeking Clinical Fellowship (CF) supervision—are invited to help make a difference for the 2026-2027 academic year.
Multiple assignments are available (full-time and part-time) at various elementary, middle, and high school campuses, with roles starting August 4th, 2026, and concluding May 28th, 2027. Supervision for qualified CFs is provided. Please note: SLPAs and virtual arrangements are not being considered at this time.
What you’ll bring:
- Active Florida SLP license (required)
- Experience in a school-based setting (preferred)
- SLP-CCC or strong CF candidates welcome (with supervision available)
- Familiarity with IEPs, assessment, and delivery of speech-language services for preschool and K-12 students
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
What you’ll do:
- Provide direct therapy and diagnostic services to a diverse student population
- Complete and update documentation, including evaluations and IEPs
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team and communicate progress with families and staff
- Develop and implement individual and group therapy sessions
- Participate in ongoing professional collaboration, meetings, and training
Eligible candidates will work on a contract basis for 37.5 hours per week, following the school calendar for Volusia County Public Schools. Caseloads and school placements align with your experience and location preferences—simply note your interest in specific positions when applying.
