School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Saint Peters, Missouri

Exciting opportunities are available for dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists seeking contract roles for the 2026-2027 academic year. Work within several supportive school communities in the Saint Peters, MO area, serving diverse caseloads while making a vital impact in students’ lives. Multiple sites are involved, including Hazelwood (all ages), Ferguson Florissant (primarily elementary), and Jennings (all ages); minimal travel is required, with assignments within close proximity.
You will collaborate with educational teams to provide speech and language interventions that help students access their curriculum and achieve their communication goals. This contract position begins August 24, 2026, and runs through May 28, 2027 (dates subject to change based on school needs), with a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current and valid professional license in Speech-Language Pathology (CF or CCC required)
- Fingerprints and successful completion of a drug screen (time-sensitive, must be completed before start date)
- Previous pediatric or school-based SLP experience highly valued
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to travel to multiple schools within the same general area
Role Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide targeted speech-language therapy services to students of varying ages
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and required compliance paperwork
- Engage in IEP meetings and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary education teams
- Adapt therapy methods based on evolving caseload and individual student needs
- Communicate progress and strategies with both staff and families
