Step into a pivotal role supporting students’ communication and learning needs as a contracted Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming school year. This opportunity encompasses five full-time positions, with responsibilities based near the Saint Paul, MN area for an onsite, itinerant assignment. You'll provide essential evaluation and intervention services for diverse caseloads, collaborating with educators and support staff to empower student success from August 17, 2026, through May 28, 2027.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Valid Minnesota State Licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Educator credential (Professional License, Level 2, 3, or 4)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Prior experience working in K-12 educational settings, particularly in itinerant or school-based roles
  • Strong diagnostic, therapeutic, and documentation skills
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities

Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct and consultative SLP services to assigned caseloads across multiple school sites
  • Perform comprehensive assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and track progress
  • Collaborate closely with families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain thorough records and reports to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Foster positive learning environments and advocate for each student’s communication needs
