Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or strong CFY candidates considered
- Valid state license in Maryland or eligibility to obtain one
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred but not required
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students
- Deliver direct and consultative services to students per their IEPs
- Document and report progress, maintaining compliance with state and district requirements
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and special education staff to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary evaluations
