Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Active SLP licensure for Missouri, with eligibility for school-based practice
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) preferred; SLP-CFY applicants welcomed
- Proven track record working with pediatric populations, ideally within elementary schools
- Strong understanding of school-based IEP processes and compliance
- Experience providing evaluations, direct therapy, and consultation in person
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms is a plus, though on-site attendance is required
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language evaluations and evidence-based interventions for K-5 students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with school teams
- Monitor student progress and maintain compliant documentation
- Consult with teachers, parents, and other professionals to maximize student success
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings as needed
- Foster a supportive, inclusive, and positive learning environment
