Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing for a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time school-based opportunity in St. Augustine, FL for the 2026–2027 school year. This is an excellent opportunity for licensed SLPs who are passionate about helping students improve communication, language development, articulation, and academic success within an educational setting.
We are seeking compassionate professionals who thrive in collaborative school environments and are committed to providing high-quality speech and language services to students with diverse learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized speech therapy treatment plans
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, special education staff, and related service providers
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development and progress reporting
- Maintain accurate documentation, therapy notes, and compliance records
- Support students with articulation, fluency, voice, expressive/receptive language, and social communication needs
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active Florida SLP License
- Current ASHA CCCs preferred (Clinical Fellows may be considered depending on district)
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively with students across a variety of age groups and disabilities
