Job Overview
Blazer Jobs is currently seeking a qualified and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time school-based position in Destin, FL for the 2026–2027 school year. This role is ideal for a professional who is passionate about supporting students with speech and language needs and contributing to their academic and social development within a school environment.
We are looking for a collaborative and student-focused SLP who is committed to delivering high-quality speech and language services in partnership with educators, families, and school-based teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized speech therapy treatment plans
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, special education staff, and related service providers
- Participate in IEP meetings and assist in developing speech and language goals
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and compliance records
- Support students with articulation, fluency, voice, language, and social communication needs
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active Florida SLP license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse student population
