Step into an impactful school-based role supporting students' communication and learning as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2026-27 academic year. Multiple onsite positions are available for SLPs with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) as well as Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates. Conveniently located within driving distance of Atlanta, Decatur, and Peachtree City, you’ll have the chance to work with elementary, middle, or high school students—empowering their growth and success.
Your commitment will span the academic year from July 27, 2026, to May 26, 2027, working a consistent 40-hour week. You will join a dedicated, collaborative educational team in helping students develop crucial speech and language skills in an inclusive, nurturing environment.
What you’ll need:
- Valid Georgia Speech-Language Pathology license or eligibility
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status welcome
- Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms is a plus
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Passion for fostering student potential and supporting individualized educational plans
What you’ll do:
- Evaluate and treat students with a range of speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement IEPs and therapy sessions tailored to each student
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service staff
- Document student progress and participate in eligibility and IEP meetings
- Deliver services in classroom and/or dedicated therapy settings
- Optionally utilize teletherapy as appropriate
