Speech and Language Pathologist in Milton, WV

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- State SLP licensure (or eligibility) in West Virginia
- Previous school-based experience strongly preferred
- Comfortable working with a caseload across grades PK-8
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt to new environments
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Design personalized treatment plans based on student needs and goals
- Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers to support each student’s IEP
- Provide therapy services in a variety of school settings, managing a caseload of approximately 40 students
- Maintain thorough documentation, progress reports, and compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a positive, team-focused culture
