Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid and active state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellow (CF)
- Previous experience or strong interest in pediatric SLP within schools
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with students, staff, and families
- Adaptable, resourceful, and organized with a commitment to student success
Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in a diverse pediatric caseload
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student IEPs
- Work closely with educators, families, and other support staff to provide comprehensive care
- Track and document student progress, prepare reports, and participate in IEP meetings
- Use evidence-based interventions to foster communication and learning
- Provide guidance and education to students, staff, and families regarding effective communication strategies
