You’ll collaborate with dedicated educators, serve a varied caseload, and engage with students in elementary, alternative high school, and community transition programs for young adults (ages 18-22). Your week will be split between campuses in Rancho Cordova and Folsom, ensuring each day brings new opportunities to positively impact students’ communication and success.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active SLP License and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience delivering school-based services across age groups
- Strong ability to manage a diverse caseload in multiple locations
- Dedication to collaborative, student-centered practices
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy across elementary, high school, and community settings
- Conduct evaluations, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and document student progress
- Support students’ communication goals using individualized and group therapy
- Consult with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to foster student development
- Navigate between multiple school sites and adapt to each school’s unique environment
