Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid SLP license for California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Experience working in school settings preferred
- Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation abilities
- Comfortable collaborating with teachers, parents, and interdisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess students’ speech, language, and communication skills
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Deliver direct intervention services, primarily in person, with small potential for remote work
- Conduct screenings and document progress in compliance with IEP requirements
- Offer input for IEP development, meetings, and progress reports
- Consult with educators and families to support student outcomes
- Maintain thorough, timely records according to school standards
