Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Norristown, PA
A contracted Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to support students in grades 8-9 at a school located in Norristown, PA. This role is specifically designed as a maternity leave coverage from mid-April through December 2025. The position offers a structured schedule and a collaborative environment dedicated to student success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language pathology services to middle school students, focusing on pediatric and school-based therapies.
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans to address communication disorders.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with relevant guidelines.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to intervention planning.
Qualifications:
- Licensed SLP with experience in school-based pediatrics.
- Strong understanding of speech and language development in adolescents.
- Ability to effectively engage with students in a school setting.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Experience working with students in middle school grades preferred.
Schedule and Location:
- Located in Norristown, PA.
- Contract position covering maternity leave from mid-April to December 2025.
- Daily schedule: 7:25 AM to 3:00 PM.
- 35 hours per week.
