Desired Qualifications:
- Hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as an SLP in New Mexico
- Previous experience in school-based practice preferred
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities
- Comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary educational teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for speech, language, and communication disorders among K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with staff and families
- Conduct therapy sessions and monitor student progress in accordance with IEP goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings as required
- Collaborate with teachers and other specialists to promote a positive learning environment
- Adjust service delivery and classroom interaction based on caseload complexity and your professional expertise
