Ideal candidates will bring:
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working in school-based or pediatric settings is preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with students, parents, and staff
- Ability to create a positive, inclusive, and motivating therapy environment
Primary responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, voice, and fluency assessments with K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals
- Deliver direct therapy services and provide progress reports
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers and special educators
- Educate and consult with students' families and school personnel about communication disorders and progress
- Maintain timely documentation and follow school district protocols
