Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders
- Valid SLP license to practice in California
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Previous experience delivering speech and language therapy in school settings preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and administrators
- Commitment to in-person service delivery
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with speech and language needs
- Provide targeted, evidence-based therapy sessions to students in accordance with their IEPs
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate findings with parents and school teams
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate on multidisciplinary teams to support student achievement
- Offer guidance and resources to classroom teachers for supporting students’ communication goals
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and district policies
