Key Qualifications:
- West Virginia SLP certification required
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working within schools, particularly with PK-3 grade students
- ASHA CCC credential preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Must provide in-person services (teletherapy not needed at this time)
- Collaborative spirit to partner with teachers, families, and staff
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with communication disorders
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to PK-3 students
- Monitor progress and document outcomes
- Collaborate with teachers to integrate therapy goals into classroom activities
- Provide resources and support to families and caregivers
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student success plans
