Make an impact this year by empowering students through speech and language support in a dynamic educational environment. You will provide instructional, behavioral, and classroom support to elementary students under the direction of certified teachers and special education staff.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
- Valid state license (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP or CFY accepted).
- Experience or strong interest in working within school settings.
- Understanding of IEP development and progress monitoring.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language services to elementary students, supporting district SLPs with their caseloads.
- Evaluate, diagnose, and develop intervention plans to address communication and language disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to ensure integrated support and student progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation for assessments, therapy sessions, and student outcomes.
- Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to intervention planning, and monitor goal achievement.
