Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure as required for SLPs
- Prior experience working in a school setting is highly desirable
- Proficient in administering assessments and developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities with both students and staff
- Organizational skills to manage caseloads, documentation, and progress tracking
- Familiarity with digital tools for telepractice, if choosing a virtual or hybrid role
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that foster student success
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic support
- Document progress, maintain timely records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Deliver therapy sessions tailored to students' needs, whether in-person or remotely
- Provide consultation and training to school staff and families as needed
