Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure
- Experience in school-based practice, with knowledge of IEP documentation
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with staff, students, and families
- Adaptability and an open approach to working with diverse student populations
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for K-12 students
- Develop and implement targeted intervention plans in alignment with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing recommendations and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Track student progress, maintaining accurate and timely documentation
- Offer support to teachers and families regarding individualized strategies and classroom accommodations
- Serve as a resource for faculty regarding speech and language needs
