Make a meaningful impact supporting high school students in a dedicated role working with grades 9-12. This contract-based opportunity is full-time and requires an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide on-site services near the Windsor and Rohnert Park, CA area. You’ll collaborate with school staff and families to facilitate successful communication outcomes for students while fostering their growth and development.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Hold and maintain active California SLP licensure and credentials required for school-based practice
- Previous experience working with high school or adolescent student populations strongly preferred
- Ability to work onsite (this is not a remote or hybrid role)
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable collaborating with educators, administrators, and families
- Must be able to work independently—no SLPA supervision involved in this assignment
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess students’ speech-language abilities, creating personalized therapy plans
- Provide direct therapy services to students in grades 9-12
- Document progress, prepare reports, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
- Work closely with teachers and school staff to support student achievement
- Educate families and provide resources to enhance speech and language development at school and home
