Key Qualifications:
- Current Illinois Speech-Language Pathology License (IL License)
- Professional Educator License (PEL) required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship (CF) welcomed
- Experience or strong interest in school-based or therapeutic environments
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to optimize student outcomes
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluation, diagnostic, and therapy services to students with communication disorders
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Utilize evidence-based practices to address speech, language, and social communication needs
- Work as an integral part of a multidisciplinary educational team
- Offer guidance and consultation to staff and families regarding strategies and supports
- Assist with progress monitoring and timely documentation as required by school and district policies
