Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Communicative Disorders or a related field
- Active South Carolina SLP license
- Current SC Educator Certification
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or candidates completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) welcome
- Previous experience in school settings preferred, but open to those eager to grow their skills
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for elementary students
- Develop, implement, and track individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy tailored to each child’s needs
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ educational journeys
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams
