Essential Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Communicative Disorders or a closely related field
- Valid South Carolina SLP License
- South Carolina Educator Certification
- Accepts both CCC-SLP and CFY candidates
- Previous experience working in a school setting strongly preferred
- Solid communication and documentation skills
- Passion for helping young learners reach their communication goals
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver direct therapy to elementary-aged students
- Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and families to implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain thorough documentation and track student progress in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
- Provide both individual and group interventions targeting a range of communication needs
