Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Communicative Disorders or a related field required
- Valid South Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- SC Educator Certification
- Eligible for, or currently hold, SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY designation
- Experience in school settings with elementary-aged children highly preferred
- Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for elementary students
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Deliver direct therapy services to a manageable caseload of approximately 50 students
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, school staff, and families to support learning outcomes
- Track student progress and maintain accurate records according to school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and support parent education
