Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Valid or eligible Virginia SLP license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but not required (CFs and SLPAs are also encouraged)
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Passion for fostering academic and social growth in children and teens
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students across a range of ages and grade levels
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, interventions, and IEP goals
- Deliver both direct and consultative speech-language therapy in educational settings
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain detailed documentation in compliance with district and state standards
- Participate in IEP meetings, student support meetings, and ongoing team collaboration
