Make a real impact supporting elementary students as a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist during a leave coverage assignment. This contract opportunity begins January 4th and is expected to continue through the end of March, with the possibility of extension based on school needs. Professional Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Valid California SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in a school-based SLP role strongly preferred
- Ability to independently manage a varied caseload of elementary students
- Proficiency creating individualized treatment plans and collaborating with educators and families
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech/language and communication assessments for assigned students
- Develop and implement IEP goals and targeted intervention strategies
- Provide direct therapy sessions to address students’ communication needs
- Work closely with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain timely and compliant documentation for all services and Medicaid billing as required
- Participate in IEP meetings and professional development as assigned
This position offers a consistent weekly schedule, with workdays from 7:30 am to 3:00 pm, totaling 35 hours per week. You’ll collaborate with a dedicated onsite team and be supported by experienced leadership throughout your assignment.
