Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Starting January 4th and continuing through the end of March (with potential extension), you’ll serve as a valued leave replacement and provide essential services to a diverse caseload of 55 students in an inclusive, single-site educational environment. You’ll collaborate with a dedicated team, foster communication development, and make a significant difference every day.
What you’ll need to bring:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP-CCC certification required
- Experience working within school settings, specifically with elementary-aged students
- Skilled in supporting both speech-only and resource students
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation abilities
- Adaptable, proactive, and committed to student growth and positive outcomes
Role responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy sessions in alignment with students’ IEP goals
- Conduct assessments and maintain thorough documentation of progress and outcomes
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to develop and implement intervention plans
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, sharing insights and recommendations for student support
- Foster a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere that encourages student participation and growth
Enjoy a consistent daytime schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 am–3:00 pm (35 hours/week), ensuring you have your evenings free for work-life balance. You’ll engage with students and staff in a positive, collaborative environment and have the satisfaction of supporting young learners as they reach critical communication milestones.
