Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Riverside, California

This in-person, contract opportunity spans the full academic year, offering a dynamic, itinerant schedule to work with a diverse pediatric caseload. You'll collaborate with dedicated education professionals and make a genuine difference for children requiring Speech-Language therapy.
Ideal candidates will bring expertise in pediatric and school-based speech pathology, with a strong background in assessment, intervention, and IEP documentation for a caseload model. Both experienced clinicians (CCC-SLP) and Clinical Fellows (CFY) are encouraged to apply—district-provided supervision is available to support your professional growth.
Qualifications:
- Active California SLP License required
- Experience in pediatric and/or school-based therapy
- CCC-SLP or eligible CFY; supervision for CFY available
- Familiarity with healthcare and educational models of speech pathology
- Competency in developing and implementing IEPs
- Comfort traveling between multiple sites within a district
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver evaluation, diagnostic, and direct therapy services to students in multiple school settings
- Develop, update, and track student progress on IEP goals and accommodations
- Engage in team meetings, providing input for educational planning and student support
- Participate in ongoing training and utilize the district IEP system (training provided as needed)
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and administrators for holistic student care
- Maintain accurate records within the caseload/workload framework
