School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Rising Sun, Maryland

This contract opportunity seeks two Speech-Language Pathologists (CCC-SLP) to serve a vibrant onsite caseload of 55 students, working a steady 35 hours each week. Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous school-based experience or strong clinical practicum in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Commitment to culturally responsive and inclusive practice
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide onsite direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to a caseload of 55 students across a variety of ages and needs
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop and implement IEP goals, and maintain thorough documentation
- Engage and consult with teachers, families, and support staff to promote student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility conferences, and other school-based team meetings
- Utilize evidence-based interventions to address speech, language, articulation, fluency, and related communication challenges
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary
