Desired Background and Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders required
- Current New Mexico Speech-Language Pathology license through the state board
- New Mexico license from the PED Ancillary and Support Services
- CFY and CCC-SLP candidates welcome
- Experience with pediatric and school-based populations is strongly preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy sessions to students
- Assess, document, and report on student progress toward language and communication goals
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to foster an inclusive learning environment
- Develop and implement IEPs in accordance with district and state requirements
- Integrate evidence-based practices to ensure high-quality therapy services
