Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current New Mexico license issued by the New Mexico Speech Language Pathology and Audiology Board
- New Mexico PED Ancillary and Support Services license
- Clinical experience in school settings or pediatrics (CFY candidates are encouraged to apply)
- Effective communication and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication challenges for elementary and middle school students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress and goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting in compliance with regulatory standards
- Provide both group and individual therapy sessions tailored to student needs
- Serve as a resource for parents and educators regarding best practices in speech and language interventions
