School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Corrales, New Mexico

An exciting opportunity awaits for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to make a meaningful impact in a school-based setting. This contract position near Corrales, NM, requires immediate start and extends through May 28th. You'll serve both elementary and middle school students, managing a caseload of 40-50 diverse learners. This dynamic role is ideal for clinicians passionate about supporting the communication and developmental needs of children and adolescents.
With a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, you’ll collaborate with educators and families, providing high-quality speech and language services in an engaging, supportive environment. Recent graduates completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and experienced clinicians with CCC credentials are welcome.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- State of New Mexico License in Speech-Language Pathology (Speech Language Pathology and Audiology Board)
- New Mexico PED Ancillary and Support Services License
- Experience with pediatric or school-based caseloads preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement IEP goals, and deliver therapy tailored to student needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Manage a caseload of 40-50 elementary and middle school students
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise in speech and language development
