Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active SLP license in the state of Arizona
- Clinical Certificate of Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows (CFY) will be considered
- Previous experience within a school setting highly valued
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Collaborative spirit and adaptability in working with multidisciplinary education teams
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings for students
- Assess, diagnose, and create individualized treatment plans addressing communication disorders
- Deliver direct therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and specialists to support each student’s progress
- Monitor and document student responses, maintaining compliant records and preparing necessary reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute your expertise toward students’ educational planning
