Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid licensure as an SLP within the state (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred, though Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply
  • Previous school-based or pediatric experience highly valued
  • Strong interpersonal skills, adaptability, and a collaborative approach with staff, students, and families

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
  • Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups
  • Monitor student progress, maintain detailed documentation, and participate in regular IEP meetings
  • Serve as a resource for teachers and school staff to promote inclusive communication strategies
  • Collaborate with families to provide guidance and foster continued progress beyond the classroom
