Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Arizona
- Prior experience in a school-based setting greatly preferred
- In-depth understanding of speech, language, and communication disorders in children
- Skilled in evaluating and developing tailored treatment plans
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to adapt and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, and communication challenges
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and timely documentation to track student achievements and meet compliance standards
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to planning for student success
