Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Arizona (or eligibility for licensure)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in SLP (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows will be considered
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is desirable
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills
- Ability to work effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess students referred for speech and language issues using appropriate evaluation tools and techniques
- Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and set attainable goals for students
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy, both individually and in small groups
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and parents to support student academic and social development
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in line with district and legal requirements
- Participate in eligibility, IEP, and team meetings as needed
- Offer professional insight and recommendations to colleagues regarding student needs and best practices
