Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state SLP license and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) required
- Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations is highly desirable
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to develop individualized education program (IEP) goals and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Flexibility and adaptability in dynamic school environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders among K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs
- Provide direct therapy services in both group and one-on-one settings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education staff to support student progress
- Contribute to the development of IEPs and attend relevant meetings
- Maintain thorough, compliant documentation of services and results
- Offer input on accommodations and modifications to promote student success in the classroom
