As a part-time speech-language pathologist (SLP – CCC) in a supportive high school setting, you will work three days a week with a manageable caseload. Most students have specific learning disabilities, offering both challenge and reward as you make a meaningful impact.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid SLP license (CCC) and Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) required
- Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
- Expertise in evaluating and treating high school-age students with specific learning disabilities
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy to high school students (caseload: 35)
- Complete assessments, IEP development, and progress monitoring
- Partner with educators, families, and support staff to optimize student outcomes
- Maintain thorough and compliant student records
