Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid state SLP license or eligibility for licensure in VA
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligible Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Pediatric experience in a school setting preferred
  • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply

Credentials/Certifications Required:

  • Active SLP License (VA)
  • ASHA CCC or CFY supervision eligibility
  • Up-to-date clearances required for school employment

Job Details:

  • Start date: Flexible, starting at the next school semester
  • End date: End of the academic year, with possible extension
  • Hours per week: 37.5
  • Days per week: 5 (Monday – Friday)
  • Age group: Preschool through high school
  • Caseload: Manageable, full-time caseload with support
  • Variety of speech/language needs and diverse student population
