Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply
- Experience working with pediatric clients required
- Open to candidates new to school settings
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Deliver engaging speech and language therapy services to elementary and middle school students
- Evaluate students using standardized assessments and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Work collaboratively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student needs
- Travel between assigned schools to manage a dynamic, itinerant schedule
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
- Offer expert consultation and professional support to staff and families
Benefits & Perks: For this position, compensation ranges from $49 to $59 per hour and reflects your experience, education, certifications, and related qualifications. The caseload is manageable, never exceeding 55 students (typically around 50), allowing you to deliver high-quality, personalized support.
